About the Band Boosters
The LCHS Band Boosters is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting the award-winning L'Anse Creuse High School Band Program. They are tasked to organize volunteer efforts and fundraising projects to provide essential support, ensuring the band has what it needs to succeed.
Their mission is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive in the band program, regardless of financial circumstances.
Volunteer
Our band program relies on the volunteer efforts of parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors and friends. YOU are essential to the success of the program!
Volunteer as little or as much time you have, and make some great friends along the way! There's lots of different ways to help the band, support your student, and become part of something bigger than you.
Volunteering doesn't have to be a huge commitment, it can be simply pitching in when and where you can. A little bit of help from every parent/guardian can go a LONG way!

How to Get Involved
Bingo
Join the Bingo crew and earn credits for your student's account.
Our charity BINGO is the primary fundraiser for our program, helping raise funds for the band program 3 nights a week throughout the year. This is an incredible opportunity to earn credits to pay for band camp fees, band trips, winter guard fees, as well as the support the band program in general.
Chaperones
Help supervise students during trips and competitions.
Our Chaperones accompany students off-site at marching band competitions, Concert Festival, and band trips. They offer support and safety, help serve snacks, and make sure all students are well taken care of while we are away.
Uniform Crew
Assist with uniform fittings, alterations, and maintenance.
Our uniform crew keeps the band looking great! Join them as they fit uniforms, do light alterations, iron, and get the band "show-ready" for competitions.
Marching Band Meals
Serve meals and snacks during marching season.
Help feed the band during the marching season! We need volunteers to serve meals and snacks at school and on the road during marching season.
Props Crew
Help build and transport props for the marching band’s shows.
Grab a hammer and a paintbrush! We need your help building, painting and accessorizing some of the GREATEST and well-known marching show props in the entire state of Michigan. No experience is required. We provide the tools - come meet the crew! Hint: this is a LOT of fun.
Band Camp
Ensure the students get the best possible experience at band camp.
Our booster-run band camp is staffed entirely by parent volunteers. We are looking for help chaperoning, housekeeping, medical staff, and more. It's also a great way to support your student during this busy, action-packed week away.
Fundraising
We offer year-round opportunities for families to raise funds for student fees and trips. From weekly Bingo sessions to seasonal flower sales, our efforts directly benefit the band program. Using the RaiseRight app is another way families can earn credits while shopping locally.
